Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PresidLE ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

PresidLE is a free, daily presidential guessing game. Each day, a new puzzle is published and players attempt to identify a U.S. President based on structured feedback. The Service also includes practice mode, an archive of past puzzles, a public leaderboard, and optional email reminders.

Accounts

• You may play as a guest without creating an account. Guest progress is stored via a browser cookie. We use essential cookies for game functionality. Session replay analytics only starts after you acknowledge the cookie notice. See our Privacy Policy for details.
• You may optionally create an account to access settings, preferences, leaderboard participation, and other features. Creating an account also enrolls you in daily reminder emails by default unless you turn them off in settings or unsubscribe.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
• Attempt to manipulate the leaderboard or game statistics
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

Leaderboard

Game statistics and display names may be shown on the public leaderboard. You can opt out of the leaderboard at any time through your account settings. We reserve the right to remove entries that appear to be fraudulent or manipulated.

Email Communications

By creating an account, you consent to receiving daily reminder emails from us by default. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, through your account settings, or via the unsubscribe page. We will not sell or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

Intellectual Property

The PresidLE name, logo, game design, and original content are the property of their respective owners. Historical facts, presidential portraits, and public domain information used in the game are not claimed as proprietary. AI-generated clues are created for entertainment and educational purposes.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated clues or game content, though we make reasonable efforts to verify factual accuracy. We are not responsible for any errors in historical information presented in the game.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PresidLE and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
